Burger King: App-only deals available through Nov. 18 include: Buy one get one free Whopper; $5 Whopper Meal (Whopper, small fries, small drink); $5 Crispy Chicken Meal (Crispy Chicken Sandwich, small fries, small drink); $5 Whopper Jr Meal for two (two each: Whopper Jr, small fries, small drink); $4.99 for 2 Original Chicken Sandwiches and 2 small fries; $3.99 for 2 Whopper Jrs and 2 small fries; $3 Double Cheeseburger Meal (Double Cheeseburger, small fries, small drink).

What to order: The $5 footlong is dead! Long live the $5 footlong!  Ever since Subway scrapped its signature deal, people looking for a quick sandwich for cheap have never been the same emotionally (or financially). Still, the sandwiches remain quite affordable: We recommend ordering the six inch Italian B.M.T. (Genoa salami, spicy pepperoni, Black Forest ham) on rye bread ($4.69) with a bag of Doritos ($1.29). And don't forget to top that sucker with any fixins you want -- unlike other sub shops (*cough* Jimmy John's *cough*) -- it's all free.
Marineland Melanesia - This exciting crocodile and marine life habitat centre is Green Island’s most fascinating attraction! Guided tours are available for groups or else just wander to the Marine Park yourself. At 10:30 and 1:45 there is a crocodile show each day. Be amazed as the daring crocodile handler feeds the powerful salt water crocodile Cassius, the largest captive salt water croc in the world! Handle a young crocodile and take a photo to show all your friends and family back at home. Also at Marineland Melanesia you will find Papua New Guinean Carvings and Tribal Art, Old-Restored Marine Artefacts and Stationary Engines, Colourful Marine Aquariums and Giant Marine Turtles that have been rescued and are being re-habilitated. (Fees apply)

Getting a wallet-friendly last-minute flight really comes down to how flexible you are with travel dates. The more date combinations you can search, the more chances you have at nabbing a well-priced last-minute fare. Fixed dates can box you in and you’ll likely end up having to spend more. The same goes for location. Searching for flights to multiple destinations only increases your odds of hitting on a good last-minute flight deal. In terms of dates, think too about traveling to destinations during their off-season. If, for example, you’ve got Paris on the brain, looking for a last-minute flight in October would likely cost much less than if you were searching for July.

The thing is, a lot of these offers aren’t... great? Like, they’re not terrible—well, some of them are—but there’s really only one that’s legitimately excellent, and that one started earlier this month and goes through the end of the year. As such, we’ve made some notes. Forgive us, we’re a little cranky, and don’t think $1 french fries are anything to write home about, McDonald’s. This is a partial list, of course—there’s so much fast food, we couldn’t possibly include every chain—compiled from roundups courtesy of Treasure Coast Newspapers, Delish, and BGR. We’ve broken them into four self-explanatory categories.
